Rescue Diver Course: Learn Underwater Rescue and First Aid Skills

The PADI Rescue Diver course is an important step in any diver’s journey, teaching divers how to handle underwater emergencies and rescue other divers. The course aims to boost divers’ confidence in their abilities and prepare them to face any emergencies that may occur while diving.

Components of the Rescue Diver Course

  1. Theoretical Training:
    • Theoretical training includes studying the basic concepts of rescue, such as how to identify underwater emergencies, manage stress, and apply appropriate rescue procedures. This is done through interactive lessons and written tests.
  2. First Aid and CPR Training:
    • The course includes comprehensive training in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). This training is essential for divers to be able to provide immediate assistance in emergencies.
  3. Practical Training in Confined and Open Water:
    • Practical training begins in a confined water environment such as a swimming pool, and then moves to open water to apply rescue skills in a real environment. Practical training includes performing various rescue scenarios under the supervision of a certified instructor.
